Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 October 2026

This policy explains what Browsova ("we", "us"; Rangpur, Bangladesh; [email protected]) collects and does not collect when you use the Browsova desktop application (the "Software"), visit browsova.com (the "Website"), or buy a license. It is part of our Terms of Service.

In short. Browsova is a desktop app, not a cloud service. Your browser profiles, cookies, logins, device identities, proxy settings and saved secrets are stored only on your computer and are never sent to us. The Software talks to our servers for three things only: your license, the free trial, and update checks. The Website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. When you buy a license, the payment provider named at checkout collects your payment details — we receive your e-mail address and the order details needed to issue your key.

1. The Software

What stays on your computer

Everything you create in Browsova: profiles, browser data (cookies, logins, sessions, history), generated device identities, proxy settings (passwords encrypted at rest), saved scripts, extensions and screenshots. We do not receive any of it and cannot recover it for you. The Software keeps a log file on your computer; it is not sent to us unless you choose to send it.

What the Software sends to our servers, and why

DataWhenPurpose and retention
Your License Key and a random Device identifier generated by the SoftwareWhen you activate, and about every 12 hours while the Software runsTo confirm the license and count activated devices. Kept with the license record for as long as the license exists and as our accounting obligations require.
A one-way fingerprint of your computer (a salted SHA-256 hash of the identifier your operating system gives the machine — the Windows MachineGuid, the macOS hardware UUID or the Linux machine-id), with the same random Device identifierWhen the Software starts and about every 12 hoursTo run the free trial so that reinstalling does not restart it. The original identifier never leaves your computer and the hash cannot be turned back into it. We keep the hash and when we first and last saw it for the life of that operating-system installation.
The Software's version and your operating systemWhen it checks for updatesTo offer the right update. Not stored beyond server logs.
The network information inherent in any internet connection, such as your IP addressEvery requestProcessed by our servers and our network provider (Cloudflare) to deliver the request; kept in server logs for a short time.

The Software does not send us usage analytics or crash reports. When you test a proxy, the Software sends a request through that proxy to a public IP-information service (currently ip-api.com), which sees the proxy's address, not yours.

2. The Website

browsova.com is a static site served from our own server behind Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and includes no analytics or tracking scripts. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, time, browser user agent) for security and troubleshooting; they rotate automatically and old logs are deleted. Cloudflare processes your connection to deliver the site and protect it, under its own privacy policy.

3. Buying a license

Card and wallet payments — through a Merchant of Record

Card and wallet payments are handled by the Merchant of Record named at checkout — Paddle.com Market Limited, Creem or Lemon Squeezy, LLC. The Merchant of Record is the seller of record for the purchase and an independent controller of the data it collects: your name, e-mail address, billing country, payment details and tax information, under its own privacy policy (Paddle, Creem, Lemon Squeezy). We never see your card number. From the Merchant of Record we receive your e-mail address, the order and subscription identifiers, the plan you bought, the amount and your billing country, and we use them to issue your License Key, to extend it when a subscription renews, to process refunds, and to answer support requests.

Cryptocurrency payments

If you pay in USDT (TRC-20) or BNB, we receive the sending wallet address and the transaction hash, which are public on the respective blockchain, together with the e-mail address you give us to receive your key.

Your License Key

We send your License Key to your e-mail address, and we keep the link between your e-mail address, your purchase and your key so that we can resend a lost key, apply renewals and handle refunds. The e-mail is sent through the transactional e-mail service we use, which processes your address to deliver it.

Retention

Purchase records (e-mail address, order identifiers, plan, amount, country, key) are kept for as long as your license exists and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep records of sales, after which they are deleted.

4. Support e-mail

If you write to [email protected], we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of what was agreed.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. The only third parties that process data on our behalf or alongside us are: our hosting provider (the server that runs our website and license service); Cloudflare (network delivery and protection); the Merchant of Record you pay through; and the e-mail service that delivers your key. We may disclose data if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

6. Security

Connections to our servers use TLS. The machine fingerprint is a salted one-way hash. License tokens are signed so that the Software can verify them offline. Proxy passwords and other secrets in the Software are encrypted at rest on your computer with AES-256.

7. Your rights

You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by e-mailing [email protected] from the address you used. We will answer within 30 days. We may keep records that the law requires us to keep (for example records of a sale) and the hashed machine fingerprint that prevents a trial from restarting; deleting a License Key record ends the license. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

8. Children

Browsova is a professional tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change materially affects what we collect, the Software or the Website will say so.
